Starwood’s Sternlicht Declares 2-3% of His Net Worth Is in Crypto

Starwood Capital billionaire CEO Sternlicht, having an investment firm with over $95 billion under management, has recently shared about his crypto investment. 

Sternlicht of Starwood Admits He’s Invested in Cryptos 

He explained, “The U.S. government, along with every other major government in the Western Hemisphere, is issuing currencies now to the end of time. The printed money is a finite amount that can be traded globally.”

In Forbes’ list of billionaires’ point of view, Sternlicht’s net worth as of Oct. 14 is $4.4 billion. Starwood Capital Group’s spokesperson – Barry Sternlicht said, “Around 2-3% of my net worth is invested in the digital asset, i.e., cryptocurrency.”

It was on Friday when Barry was interviewed. At a Bloomberg event Friday in Miami he claimed, “Bitcoin is a smart insurance for investors in a world that just ‘prints money.” He further added, “Even if my investment in Crypto goes to zero, it won’t hurt me.”
