Reception for leaders of the Group Seven richest nations was hosted by Britain’s Queen Elizabeth at the Eden Project. This is the queen’s first time meeting U.S. President Joe Biden, and her 13th time greeting a U.S. leader during her reign of 69 years.
The Queen was was there with the members of the British Royal Family, her son and heir Prince Charles, his wife Camilla and grandson Prince William and his wife Kate.
It is the 95-year-old monarch’s first major public event together with her family since the funeral of Prince Philip in April.
The scene stealer of the event was when the Queen used a ceremonial sword to cut the cake. She replied, “I know there is! This is something that is more unusual.” when she was told that a knife was available instead.
This unpredictable moment lighten up the mood and made the guests present to break out in laughter!
