The Smartest Gadgets to Gift Your Man in 2021

From a ring that turns your hand into a phone to a self-cleaning water bottle, these gadgets make perfect gifts – yes, even for yourself

  1. SONOS ROAM

Sonos’s newest gadget is as stylish and strong as you’d imagine, with great sound and the kind of toughness you’d expect from a portable speaker. It’s drop-resistant and waterproof up to three feet (for thirty minutes), and it has a 10-hour battery life. But what is the most striking feature? Trueplay tuning, which adjusts the sound of the Roam to your environment and whatever you’re listening to.

2)Logitech StreamCam

Ever dreamed of packing in your job to become a Twitch streamer, playing FIFA all day to your adoring fans? Well they deserve the very best, so if you want to do it right, then you better invest in a top quality camera. The Logitech StreamCam records HD 1080p footage at 60 frames per second, and automatically tracks your face to ensure it’s always in focus. It also boasts an auto-exposure feature that fends against unexpected light changes, and you can adjust the video dimensions for different social media sites.

3)Hydrow

Hydrow is attempting to do what Peloton did for home cycling with the humble rowing machine. A 22″ touch screen (with front-facing speakers) shows workout routines and all the stats you need to monitor your progress, as well as allowing you to practise with other rowers and mates. With an ergonomically cushioned 10-roller system seat, it’s also quiet and convenient. Rowing is said to engage 86 percent of the muscles, and this is the easiest and most high-tech way to test that theory.

4)Polaroid Go

Polaroid’s new analogue instant camera is a top-tier party camera. It’s a truly tiny device with a few surprising extras. It’s pocket-sized and produces the brand’s signature square prints, as well as double exposure, a self-timer, and a selfie mirror. It’s also rechargeable, making it a lot cheaper than competitors like the Instax Mini. It’s a bit of a departure, but one that we wholeheartedly endorse.

5)Angell E- Bike

The Angell is up there with the best e-bikes available, deceptively light and packed with useful tech (an LCD screen that shows calories burned, GPS directions that feed through to vibrations in the handlebars, a weather and pollution index, an anti-theft warning, and unique speed settings of up to 15 mph). French designer Ora-to created its iconic clean lines, and developer Marc Simoncini hopes to make it the “iPhone” of the electric bike industry.

6)Amazfit T-Rex Pro

Not everybody needs a wrist-worn supercomputer. Often what you need is something that does the basics well and can withstand the elements. The Amazfit T-Rex Pro is a true adventure watch, as it not only guides you around, tracks your exercises, and measures your blood oxygen levels, but it also includes a weather tracker, a sunrise and sunset indicator, a moon phase display, a compass, and a barometric altimeter (for altitude). Furthermore, it has an absurdly long battery life of 18 days.
