After 17 years all six friends said their goodbyes, they’re finally getting back together for the highly anticipated “F.R.I.E.N.D.S” Reunion!
The official trailer was released by HBO Max on May 19 featuring the lead cast of the show, Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green), Courteney Cox (Monica Geller), Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing), Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay), and David Schwimmer (Ross Geller) among others and was filled with laughter, tears and lots of nostalgia as they recalled the iconic moments of the show, not leaving a dry eye in the end.
ABOUT THE REUNION TRAILER
The trailer begins with David asking the group about the length of the letter Rachel wrote for Ross to which Matt replies “18 pages!”. While David waits for the answer, excited Jennifer says “Front and back!”.The trailer also involves some priceless moments like the universal question: “Were Ross and Rachel on a break?” and Lisa mouthing the dialogues from the iconic episode of the show: ‘The one where everyone finds out’ was delightful to watch. From their group hugs to getting emotional on the sets, we see it all in the trailer of the F.R.I.E.N.D.S. reunion.
The highlight of the trailer was snippets of the cast talking about having a great friendship outside the show. “We have such a bond from this show..” “The first table read, that’s the first time I laid my eyes on any of you.”- Lisa said.

THE CAST TALKS ABOUT THEIR FRIENDSHIP
In an interview with the People magazine, David said “this cast in their roles and the collaborative spirit that the writers kind of invited where we all were you know playing at the same level like the highest level I think, in terms of sitcom that could play at, I think it was just a dream come true for all of us and I think we all realized it really early on”
In the same interview, Courteney said ‘we ate lunch together every day, the three of us” (Jennifer, Courteney, and Lisa) and “we never went off our separate ways, we always wanted to hang and that made 10 years incredible”
While Matt said to the interviewer “it’s funny when we do get together, it’s like no time has passed and I mean I think everybody sort of has a relationship like that in their life, we get together and it’s like you pick up right where we left off…”
Jennifer said that their friendship “goes so beyond the work and what the show was in and of itself just a spectacular phenomenon but the friendships slash family that came out of it is just you now you can’t put into words” How cute!
WHO ELSE IS EXPECTED TO MAKE AN APPEARANCE AT THE REUNION?
Apart from the main cast, Kit Harington, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, David Beckham, Justin Beiber, Cindy Crawford, James Corden, Elliot Gould, Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, James Michael Tyler, Reese Witherspoon, Malala Yousafzai, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, and BTS will also be making a guest appearance in the show.
ABOUT THE PREMIERE:
The Reunion will be premiered on May 27 in the US on HBO Max streaming service. There is no word on the release date in India yet. HBO Max is not available in India which means that fans might have to wait a little longer to watch it.
